In the garden outside our classroom we all planted some Spring bulbs and plants. The bulbs were daffodils and tulips. We had to dig a hole about 10 centimetres deep before we covered the bulbs with soil. We put some ice-block sticks with our names on to mark the place where they are planted. The flowering plants were pansies and polyanthus. We hope they will all grow and make a colourful show. We know the plants will need:
1. Water
2.Sunlight
3. Soil and fertilizer
Welcome to C7's blog 2012. We are a Year 2 class and our teacher is Mrs Jenny Burnett. This year we will be working hard to reach for the stars. We will try to do the very best we can by using our Glenholme School values of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILTY, PRIDE, and HONESTY. Most of all we will use a GO FOR IT attitude. In C7 not I can't, but I CAN try!
C7 Whizz Kids
Welcome to C7's blog 2012
We welcome parents and extended family to our classroopm. We really appreciate any parent help. So far we have two lovely mums, Kylee and June who are giving up their precious time to help out with reading. Remember the more practice the children get, the more confident they become. Thank you to all you terrific parents who are supporting your children with homework. As a teacher I can see the growth with home reinforcement. Keep up the great work.
